Following the release of a YouTube video which stated Disney Channel star saying “We love Jesus. He died for our Sin. That’s how awesome he is. Jesus “woxs”. That’s the reason we do what we do. I sing, dance, and act for Jesus. And now that I think about it, I do everything for Jesus. We’re all about it.”, several major shareholders of Disney Corporation have threatened to sell their stock, which, under the volatility of the stock market, could see an eventual collapse of Disney Corporation.
Family groups however, were quick to defend the actions of Disney30 host Jeremy Shum, and Disney’s Miley Cyrus, who teamed up in the creation of the “Accept Jesus Christ As Lord” Video, stating that the “private” lives of the stars should stay that way, and were none of the business of “manipulative” shareholders.
Jesse McCartney, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, and Selena Gomez, seemingly the new “front-line” Disney face, are a few of the other Disney stars who have also publicly stated their Christendom.
Disney Channel has not yet officially responded to the media outburst.
